Pane Carasau - paper thin, dry and crispy Sardinian bread, speciality of Sardinia. It is also called "Carta della musica" (Music paper). The recipe is very old, used by shepherds who stayed far from home for months at a time and the bread was their staple diet. Best enjoyed with cheese, honey and a glass of mead.
