Andalucian wildflower honey, from hives sited in the scorching heat of the desert landscape. Bees can survive for a whole year on the nectar they collect from the short, humid spring season in March, when the hills become abundant with many species of flowering herbs.
The hills soon dry out and then the bees must forage for water which they use to keep their hives cool in order to survive until the rain returns in October.
The result is a floral honey that has defied all odds to make it to your table.
