On this one day course you will learn to make floors and hackles for your skeps. During the day all aspects of beekeeping in skeps, ancient and modern will be discussed. You will take away a finished floor and hackle.
The course runs from 9.30am to 4pm at the Yew Tree Inn, Ross-on-Wye. Weather permitting, it will take place outdoors in the garden. A varied and abundant spread of delicious vegetarian dishes will be provided for lunch in the pub. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the day.
All the tools and materials needed will be provided on the day.
